When recalling the original intention to apply for the cultural experience event, now I am now grateful for my "momentary impulse". Before the application, I did not attend the lecture concerning the program, but just knew a little from the teacher and the project handbook. Then I applied for it on impulse. Maybe it's a bit blind, but my goal is simple - I want to see the outside world.
In a twinkling of an eye, the 21-day trip to the United States has quietly come to an end. Now, I am reluctant to part with the host family like family on the other side of the ocean, and the friends as intimate as brothers and sisters. We will always meet more fresh things and new friends when traveling. I feel delighted to meet you. I have forgotten the strange and shy feelings when we met each other for the first time, but I will never forget the way we went together, the scenery we saw, the snacks we shared, the overseas Spring Festival we celebrated together, and the things that we had never done before but did during the trip.
I love sitting quietly on the lawn of the University of California, bathing in the sun and savoring the days;
I love to tread barefoot on Santa Monica's beach, where the water is cold, but the setting sun is warm;
I love the night in San Francisco, where the neon lamps are flashing, deep and mysterious;
I love the mountain road circling in the countryside, the end of which is covered with white snow, listening to the four seasons of the town deeply in the mountain;
I love the clear blue sky, free clouds, warm California sunshine, and those lovely people.
